I was at GC for a tuning clinic, and I was like,"Hey, I need some sticks!" So I go over to this Vic Firth.. stick.. thing, and started lookin' around. Seeing Danny's name and being the Tool fan that I am, I pulled them out immediately. I flipped 'em around in my fingers and felt the groove in them; great weight, great feel. I have 3 pairs of them currently, and I play with nothing BUT them. I highly recommend getting some of these sticks.
These sticks are extremely durable!! They hold up verry nicely and they give you a heavenly amazing metal rim shot!!! The extra wood work makes they stick have a rounded grip at the perfect grip area of the stick! Deffinate buy!! I've been using them for months and will continue to do so!!
Tried them just for the heck of it and wow I really like the feel and balance. I have been playing VF Dave Weckl's for the last few years and these might be my new sticks...Sorry Dave.
