Best Marching Sticks EVER. I go through about a pair every week so far this season. These sticks still get the best sound though. Strong, perfect marching sticks.
The Ralph Hardimon snare stick hasnt let me down before. Its isnt the best stick ive held in my hands but it is truly the best for an overall marching setting in my opinion. The tip is a unique shaped barrel giving it a long taper that really lets you bring out your double strokes with ease. Even when you are playing at low dynamic levels, it still speaks through the drum and retains a good sound. The only side effect is you have to give a little more effort with your hands when you are pulling a fast lick. I dont recommend it for a solo situation but over all, a great stick.
Perfection, Vic Firth has done it. These sticks should be used by every and any drumline. Except for the fact that about a week of my playing can bust through them, and get them pretty beat. They are the best sound, and best size. Tapeing them adds visual points, and strength.
