Vater Virgil Donati Signature Drumsticks offer a grip slightly heavier than a 5B. Beefed-up shoulder and quick taper to the neck. Finished with a medium round wood tip. 16-3/8" long.
This stick has been in my bag for a month and I use it for a metal type of groove. For this reason is the weight of the stick and way it brings out the accents in your sticking. It isnt a jazz stick unless you like lifting weights when playing your drums...Virgil Donati designed a great stick!
I won these these sticks at a virgil donati clinic and they rock! They are a bit heavy and rare but the big round tips bring out alll the amazing tone I need for prog rock. Overall they are awesome.
