  This stick is too heavy. That stick is too small. These sticks are perfect! I have big hands, but I don't like a real heavy stick - the Sugar Maple Fusion sticks are Just Right. Got my first pair as part of a promotion in the store last year and the are by far my favorite.

  I purchased these about a week ago. I was looking for a stick that was a bit thinner and a smidge lighter than the 5A Vater LAs that I have a boatload of also, thicker than the Steve Jordan's which I do dig, but there just a bit too thin. The Sugar Maple Recording Wood fit that space perfectly. I would recommend these sticks to any fast stick fan. You get what your in need of without sacrificing durability or feel.

  So I really liked fast sticks and preferably maple for light weight and great sound. I played with Dave Weckl's Signature Sticks for about a year and a half. At a festival I was talking to the drummer of a band and told him how I liked the speed and love to play fusion and jazz and etc. He told me about these babies and let me tell you what they are far and away my favorite. The feel and the speed I get out of these is amazing. I was worried about the 7A being a little to thin and fragile but that has not been a problem at all. BUY THIS STICK YOU WILL HAVE "A DRUM DREAM."
