  • I Love Vater but...

    I had great experiences with other Vater sticks but these left me dissapointed. I bought a pack with two 5A's, a pair 5B's, and a pair of Power 5B's all with nylon tips. I broke one of the 5A's (nearly in half, nowhere near the tip) halfway through a 5 song set. And you know those guys that really bang away, I'm not one of them. I don't play super hard. I split another new 5A in the same set. I was playing at home with the two 5A's that I hadn't yet broken and a tip came flying off. In my next set I broke a 5B in record time. I only got the Power 5B's becuase I had never played something with that much size. I haven't broken those yet becuase I found that I don't really like that diameter. Sorry Vater but the Eternal Black series isn't doing it for me.
