Vandoren v5 S25 - The perfect soprano mouthpiece

By gperry

from Fredericksburg, VA

Comments about Vandoren V5 Classic Series Soprano Saxophone Mouthpiece:

The V5 S25 is the perfect Soprano Mouthpiece. I have wanted a sweeter more classical sound for a while, however, I have not wanted to give up the volume and flexibility of the Otto Link HR 6*. I tried the S90 Selmer 200, both Rouseau's (5R and NC5), the and Bari 64 hoping to get a really smooth, pretty, warm tone. The Selmer was my second choice and gave me the tone but did not give me the flexibility of the V5 S25. So, if you want a really warm tone that can give you an appropriate amount of edge when pushed, you can't beat the Vandoren V5 S25. Bottom line is, I have finally tamed my Antigua 586 and have the sound that best suits my style. Thanks Music123 - Glenn
