Overview

Modified to replicate Elvis Presley's

Made In: United States

Fender’s rich history all began with one instrument, the Telecaster. It’s simple yet effective design has remained nearly unchanged for decades. It was first introduced in spring of 1950 as the Esquire and was sold in a one or two pickup model. Fall of 1950 it was officially released as the Broadcaster. Due to a legal issue with Gretsch in mid-1951 Fender had to rename the instrument. At the time Fender employees took all the existing logos and cut out the word Broadcaster and branded the instruments with only the Fender logo. These models would eventual become known as the Nocaster. In 1952 the instrument would be re-released as the Telecaster, named after the newly popular medium television. Over the years many variations of the Telecaster has been released but its basic design has still remained unchanged.. This product comes with a case.
