I bought these bags to protect a set of TAMA Superstar drums I acquired. I had to make sure the bags would fit a rim mount type drum which the TAMA is, and the bags do fit. They are padded and seem to be well made, so I think I can rely on them to protect my drums. I am not in a touring band, so I did not feel I needed a hard shell type case. These are perfect for my needs. And you can't beat the price for what you get.
