This Ultimate Support TOUR-T-T package pairs the TOUR-T Tripod Mic Stand with the ULTI-BOOM TB telescoping boom so you can get your mic set up right where you need it. The combination of quality stand and boom will be an asset to any stage or studio setup.
TOUR-T Tripod Mic Stand
Like the rest of the TOUR Series Tripod Base Mic Stands, the TOUR-T model is designed for professionals, rental facilities, touring, and backline companies. The TOUR Series mic stands are roadworthy and feature patented universal mic attachments that feature top threads that fit both U.S. and metric threaded mic clips and accessories. Each stand is made of heavy-walled, oversized steel tubing that is super strong and takes the abuse of the road. All parts on the Ultimate TOUR series are interchangeable and field replaceable. In fact, the bases have a modular design with a quick-release connection system that allows you to mix and match any base or shaft within the series with other models for fast and convenient set-up, tear-down, and storage. The secure rubber footcaps will not fall off.
The Tour-T is height adjustable from 41.7" to 64.6" and has a tube diameter of 1.1".
This telescoping boom features an oversized rotation hub to increase friction and reduce slippage. Like the stand, it has top threads which fit U.S. and metric threaded mic clips and accessories. Its ergonomic knobs allow for quick adjustment without fear of pinching precious fingers before a performance. The ULTI-BOOM TB is made of extruded and anodized aluminum tubing with internal glides for fast, smooth, and noise-free adjustment. A metal counterweight gives it true balance. The boom length can be adjusted between 18.9" - 34.6".

Sadly I have to agree with the other review on here. We bought a bunch for our studio and the exact same thing happened, the telescoping arms gradually lost grip within the space of a month. It was very disappointing because these really do feel like sturdy, well built stands, but this is either a design flaw or a under-performing part. I have to recommend that people do not buy this stand under any circumstance until the manufacturer figures out how to alleviate its one critical flaw.
Looks and feels like a great strong stand. It's NOT. Used mine for a month, by the end of that month of light use the primary screw that holds up the mic was stripped. Don't waste your time on this stand.
