This Ultimate Support Pro-T-T package pairs a PRO-T Tripod Mic Stand with the ULTI-BOOM TB telescoping boom so you can get your mic at just the right height and angle for your needs. This combination of stand and boom will be an asset to any stage or studio setup.
PRO-T Mic Stand
Like the rest of the PRO Series Mic Stands, the PRO-T model is designed to be a dependable, everyday workhorse. The Pro Series mic stands have an ingenious design with patented universal mic attachments that feature top threads that fit both U.S. and metric threaded mic clips and accessories. Each stand is made of thick steel tubing (1") with field replaceable parts. They also have a clutch that locks up faster and smoother than their peers with dual overmolding for a secure grip. The tripod bases feature strong legs that securely snap in place with oversized foot caps that won't fall off or let your mic be susceptible to easy knockovers. The PRO-T is height adjustable from 41.7" to 63".
This telescoping boom features an oversized rotation hub to increase friction and reduce slippage. Like the stand, it has top threads which fit U.S. and metric threaded mic clips and accessories. Its ergonomic knobs allow for quick adjustment without fear of pinching precious fingers before a performance. The ULTI-BOOM TB is made of extruded and anodized aluminum tubing with internal glides for fast, smooth, and noise-free adjustment. A metal counterweight gives it true balance. The boom length can be adjusted between 18.9" - 34.6".

Like another reviewer I had the exact same problems with the boom arm of the Ultimate Support PRO-T-T Tripod Mic Stand with Telescoping Boom. My Senheiser 835 mic flipped upside down because the boom would not hold. Even when tightening as hard as I can, I can turn the boom easily... at both grip points. The little "ergonomic knobs" just DO NOT WORK !!!! I've had other Ultimate Support stands and have NOT had these problems ..... I guess I'll have to canabalize one of my own stands or use my K&M Boom with the PRO-T Mic Stand in order to get a dependable stand. This stand costs too much money to have this type of problem !!!
Tripod base = Excellent. Boom = Complete failure. This is a very light-duty stand. Good for a 58, nothing more. Heavier mics flipped upside down because the boom would not hold. Even when tightening as hard as I could, I could turn the boom easily... at both grip points.
As a lead singing drummer for well over 30 years I have gone through almost every stand configuration, wireless mic set up and what not. The last thing you want when gigging is a stand that slips or worse yet, tips over. I always had to either add some type of weight or tape down the legs to avoid this. This one cures the problem because I am now using a Shure Super 55 which is about as heavy of a mic as you can find and I also have it on a goose neck which furthers the imbalance. Needless to say that this stand holds it very securely without the need for any additional counterweights or other craziness. Just recently purchased but the rest of the operations work flawlessly and you can feel the quality. I was going to buy the Atlas and Atlas Boom but no need with this.
