Overview

Ultimate Support's tripod-base Amp-150 Genesis amp stand is extremely stable, holds up to 75 lbs, has 3 tilt angles, and its arms and legs fold up for portability.

Mic Boom Attachment
There's no need to carry an additional mic stand when gigging with an AMP-150. There's a built-in mic boom attachment at the top of the height-adjustable stand! Just add your favorite boom arm (or a gooseneck) and microphone, and you're ready. Great for both live sound reinforcement or for recording in the studio.

Three-Position Tilt Stand
Featuring three tilt positions, you can aim your amp exactly where you need it when using an AMP-150 amp stand. You'll be able to hear high frequencies at much lower volume levels on stage and in practice, and the sound guy will have better control over FOH sound since your amp is no longer facing directly forward.

Stable and portable
The AMP-150 is one piece that quickly folds into an ultra compact, 3.5" x 18" unit. Take your stand anywhere and never lose parts again! And, the sturdy tripod base holds up to 75 lb. - it's the perfect addition to your small to mid-sized combo amp.

Patended leg-locking system
Genesis Series guitar and amp stands feature a unique, patented leg-locking mechanism. When setting up the stand, unlock the legs, unfold and lock the legs in place for worry-free stability and strength. When finished with the gig, unlock the legs, fold, and lock for easy, compact portability. The ingenious leg lock eliminates "floppy leg" syndrome.

Most portable amp stand

By ROBERT LUARCA

from West Covina , CA

Comments about Ultimate Support Amp-150 Genesis Amp Stand:

I own 4 of these amp stands & I enjoy the great portability & durability. I use it for 15 watt to 100 watt amps which weigh from 30 to 75 pounds. I've also used it for PA speaker monitors just to get a better angle of projection. I recommend it to all since you can attach a boom to mic your lower wattage amps or even as a makeshift mic stand. At one point I thought that ultimate support discontinued it because I could not find them in GC but found out that they are very popular. Get one you won't regret it for its compact size & clever fold up design.

2nd time buyer!

By jon colombo

from Detroit , MI

Comments about Ultimate Support Amp-150 Genesis Amp Stand:

I use this stand for my Fender bass amp "80 pds".( It Keeps my amp close to floor,) compared to up "higher up" like competitions stands that lose tone & EQ. So staying low, uses reflextions, floors & walls to support more low end response up close, More natural on stage tone: So I can keep stage volume "Down" !!! Which is more benificial to other band members! ( NO VOLUME WARS Please!!!)Results are a much Better PA mix! . So players use your amps as a monitor for Yourself!!, not to bury your band ( members- PA System - & Club patrons)with unnecessary RORE!Also (Don,t) slide stand into position with weight on it? It can cause legs to bend I learned that the hard way ! LOL!

Portable Yet Strong

By Jeffrey Hartman

from Lancaster PA

Comments about Ultimate Support Amp-150 Genesis Amp Stand:

I needed a very portable stand and this breaks down and sets up in a snap, just like their Genesis guitar stand. The little arms that hold the amp seem pretty fragile, but when I rest my 54 lb Fender Deluxe Reverb on it, it holds just fine. I don't think it would take someone accidentally sitting on the amp, but then again it wasn't made for that. I can pack it in my gear bag, so this is just what I need. It has three adjustable positions and I wish it had one more that wasn't so tilted back. That is why I gave it 4 stars. If it had that I would get 5 stars. If I take good care of it I know it will last for years. The leg/center joint is a composite material, and that helps with weight. When they say 75 lbs, I believe that might be a stretch. But 50 lbs is fine.

Excellent amp stand!

By Sterrett Carter

from Alexandria, VA

Comments about Ultimate Support Amp-150 Genesis Amp Stand:

I have had this stand for over a year now. It holds my Hartke 4x10 speaker with a Bogen CHB-35A amplifier (converted tube amp) on top of the cabinet without any problems. I've also used it at gigs outside of the church building. Between gigs, it has constantly held up the amp & bass speaker cabinet on the platform at church. It's doing exactly what I expected it to do and is durable. One word of advice - be SURE you lock the legs before loading anything on it and it will serve you well.

Works Great, Saves Room, Good Value

By DansbyMusic

from Kansas City

Comments about Ultimate Support Amp-150 Genesis Amp Stand:

Have used the Ultimate 150 stand for three years with no incidents. One important point--make sure the stand is locked and solidly positioned before you start throwing things on it. Have used the Ultimate 150 for my 45 lb amps and my 55 lb speaker boxes. The Ultimate 150 folds nicely, stays out of the way, is ready when you need it and always performs in the clutch--kinda like a good partner!

Genesis Amp Stand

By Frank "Spare Parts"

from East Meadow, NY

Comments about Ultimate Support Amp-150 Genesis Amp Stand:

Okay I saw the reviews from the others and have to disagree. I have this stand for several months now and haven't had any problems with it all. I use it for two different amps, 1) Rivera 55-112 37lbs and 2) Marshall AS100D 47lbs. This stand is sturdy and is portable. It has a locking device on the bottom that locks the legs in place, once it is locked I feel very secure with my amps on this stand. It is also great just to close it up and put it in my gig bag. Hope this helps...

Not even worth your time!

By SourJ

from Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Comments about Ultimate Support Amp-150 Genesis Amp Stand:

Well, I bought two of these stands for my band and as soon as I got to the studio they broke. Supposibly they hold up to 75 pounds, we play through two fender hot rod devilles and as soon as we set one of them on the stand, the neck of the stand broke. I don't think this can even hold 15 pounds for that matter, definetly not worth buying. For an extra 10 bucks you can get the other stand which is a lot sturdier and worth the money, I bought two of those and they work great.

It's great with a small amp!

By Eight-oh-Eight

from the great northwest USA

Comments about Ultimate Support Amp-150 Genesis Amp Stand:

I use this with a Fishman Loudbox 100 - only 23lbs. so this stand does a great job with it. The metal construction seems heavy-duty for a small unit - though time will tell with the plastic parts. I have DI outs, effects loops, etc. on the back of the amp so it has to be positioned just right so the back post is not blocking any of those ports. Otherwise, it's perfect! It folds up real nice and compact! Not sure about the 75lb. rating though - maybe 50lbs. or less might be more accurate. But it's under 30bucks with a 5 year warranty - so I think it's worth it!
