  • Not up to the usual Ultimate standard

    I own several Ultimate Support mic stands and have used many others. Unfortunately the Pro-T tripod stand isn't up to the usual high level of quality I expect from Ultimate Support. The very first time I set up a Pro-T a plastic part on one of the tripod legs slipped out of position and snapped in half. This was quite easy to do accidentally as the failed part was right at the hinge and you gain lots of leverage when you're folding the end of the tripod leg. I would very much recommend the Ultimate Support Live-T tripod or older MC-78B tripods instead. My experience with the Pro-T could have been an anomaly, but upon inspection of the tripod design I think it's likely others will encounter the same problem I did.
