I use this as a studio recording stand and it works great. Its durable, grounded and swivels well. It?s the only support sustaining my expensive mic in the atmosphere. I recommend this stand to beginners and professionals alike, well rounded and reliable.
My lead guitar player got one a while back and I've wanted one since (I do acoustic guitar and lead vocals). I just replaced my mike stand with this one. Well-built, easy to transport and set up. The best feature is the single knob to adjust both boom length and angle.
Its a great stand, especially for the small amount of money you pay. I use this stand to hold my all-purpose mic, and not only is it strong and sleek, but it's teloscopic boom can reach all the way to amplify vocals from me playing in my large drumset.
