  • Not quite what I had hoped for

    I bought this dumbek on line because I couldn't find it at any of the stores. I tried out some at the stores which had a better sound, but they were either more expensive, or didn't look so nice. I got the 10 inch one, but it still doesn't sound quite as "big" or vesatile as other dumbeks I have tried. It was over $60 with tax, which I don't think is really cheap. So the quality I got was okay, but not a "bargain." I would definitely advize on trying any drum before you buy it. That goes for guitars, or any musical instrument. Ordering from the web is not a good idea for musical instruments. Even really expensive ones may have slight variations that affect how you play.
