Comments about Traveler Guitar EG-1 Custom V2 Electric Travel Guitar:

The tuners are terrible. I tried the Traveler locking tuners also, and no good either. If it had better tuner pegs and a nicer pickup, I would say it might be worth the price. If you want a Traveler guitar, I would go for a less expensive traveler guitar and upgrade it with a better pickup and tuner. The custom is just overpriced. Oh, and I had to setup mine, really had to work on it to get the neck and action to my liking. So, factor all that in to your purchase. It is what it is, not a full size guitar that plays and sounds great, but it easy to travel with. Just over priced.

    EG-1 Custom V2

Comments about Traveler Guitar EG-1 Custom V2 Electric Travel Guitar:

I just received this guitar and have only played it for 2 days, so that is why 4 stars, because I have to see how it goes. Since I could not play it before I bought, I bought it through guitar center because they have a 30 day return. For 2 days, however, I would say 5 stars. Plays great, sounds great. Some tuning required after playing a bit, but that may be because the strings are new. The sound is great through headphones, all amps sound really awesome. Love the size, weight, could not ask for more for a travel guitar. So far, I can see playing this guitar a lot when not traveling. I have a nice taylor and fender american, and for just hanging around in my place and jamming on a the couch, I see no reason why I would not pick this up to play. I checked out the tuner and it sucks, but I don?t really need that. Actually, think they should just take that off the guitar. I don?t think many people would buy a traveler guitar if they could not tune a guitar, so not sure why it is even there. Anyway, if you are looking for a travel guitar, would recommend.

Small size, GREAT sound! Travel guitar I now use solely!

Comments about Traveler Guitar EG-1 Custom V2 Electric Travel Guitar:

Absolutely love this guitar. I've been on the lookout for a good guitar to replace my electric that offers great sound, compact size, but full fretboard. This is the one. It's gorgeous, has no headstock, and stays in tune so well. It's so light and you don't feel like you have a ton of weight around your neck or in your lap when you use it.

I even like the built-in tuner which is great for learning, too, because if you leave it on, you can see what notes you're playing at any time, on any string. One thing to note: Because of its compact size, turning the tuning knobs isn't too easy because you're having to squeeze your fingers in there. Instead, grab a D'Addario PW-TTPW-01 Turbotune Peg Winder. It's about $10 and easily slips on to a peg in a second and lets you turn to tune rather than using your fingers.

The case is also nice. Well worth every penny. It's literally replaced my full-sized electric.
