As an enterntainer I play in small gigs almost dayly and I'm my own set-upper & break-downer. My new guitar makes everything easier & lighter,sometimes I hang the guitar for more than 4 hours, plus the fingering is quiet smooth for a steel-string guitar & the sound also very clear.Totally satisfied. Also kudos to Guitar Center for making a smooth and clean purchase operation.
I got this to take on business trips and didnt expect much out of it. The unplugged sound is ok. A little quiet but you can still tell it is very resonant and has great sustain. The volume is a little above that of an unplugged electric guitar. AND THEN I PLUGGED IT INTO HEADPHONES....(cue dramatic music) Im using Sennheiser HD280 Pros, and the guitar sounds like a million bucks! The onboard eq is just enough to take out some of the chimey high end to make it sound like a real acoustic. I will most definately be gigging with this. Great Job Traveler!
Attempting to buy this guitar from Guitar Center turned out to be a real downer. I purchased it in one of their stores, and they told me at the time they had it in their warehouse and I could pick it up in a few days. During the course of the week I received emails that betrayed they didn't have it in their inventory, and that it would have to be ordered from the manufacturer. It went into "backorder" status, and after changing the expected shipping date three times in the course of the next month I gave up and cancelled the order. Guitar Center admitted they had no idea when Traveler Guitar would ship the guitar. On the phone a Guitar Center rep attempted to find another lefty I could order. When we seemed to find a decent alternative that indicated it was in stock, we went ahead and ordered it, only to be informed by the system afterward that it would be backordered! I spoke with the Guitar Center rep again, and he admitted the computer inventory system was new and had some rough edges. Since I was planning on using the guitar on an extended trip, this mess-up really screwed up my plans!
