The Traben Neo Custom 5 takes the Traben Neo package to the next level. It adds Seymour Duncan Bassline pickups with matching active electronics and a real flamed maple top to the Neo. You get modern, in-your-face tone thanks to active three-band EQ, a graphite-reinforced neck, two-way adjustable truss rod, and the big Traben Neo bridge which is more vintage-style than the other Traben bridges. Constructed with a basswood body, five-ply maple/walnut bolt-on neck, rosewood fretboard, abalone dot inlays, chrome-plated brass nut, and two soapbar pickups.
Traben's unique philosophy for building electric basses centers around their large bridges for bigger, badder tone. These bigger bridges are designed to have more mass and more bridge-to-body contact for added resonance in the body.

I have had this bass for a few months and I have been more than satisfied. It is the best bass I have played with maybe the exception of a Stingray. I love the finish and shape of the bass as well as how easy it is to play. It's not just an instrument it's a work of art. It can crank plenty if you need to or you can shape your tone to almost anything you need with the active EQ. I play bass in my school's showchoir and it does a fantastic job as well as playing any style outside of that. It sounds ok on my 50w Yorkville amp but it shines on the showchoir's Mackie system. Overall if you love bass and wanna stand out and have a sound that cuts through the mix...this is the bass for you.
