Best and cheapest effects processor ive ever used!

By Marcus Fulk

from Columbia City Indiana

Comments about Toneworks AX3G Guitar Modeling Signal Processor:

I read a few reviews on this processor and most only had good things to say about it. I figured for the price, i couldnt go wrong buying it. So I went and bought it (after it took the guy 10 minutes to search the store and find it) He handed it to me and to my suprise, it was tiny, even more small than i had imagined. But I bought it anyway. When i got it home, i skimmed the instructions, hardly understanding them because they were a bit confusing. I plugged it in and to my amaze, it pushed some of the clearest clean tones and some of the heaviest distortion i have ever heard, EVER. I was instantly obsessed with it. It is set up with 40 presets that can be tweaked or changed completely with amp modules, cabs, delay/echo, and many others. I have used more expensive processors including Line 6, Digitech, Ibanez which all sound good. (Except the Line 6 which I hated) But this thing is over the top. (especially for the price) It pretty much works for any type of music you could think of and it has plenty of sweet and groovy effects to make your perfect sound. The only downfall is that it is plastic and light, so I wouldnt want to drop it. But overall it is great. (Word to the wise) Buy it, Use it, Love it

Nothing too bad to say

By Sakoravin

from Indianapolis, IN

Comments about Toneworks AX3G Guitar Modeling Signal Processor:

Ask almost any musician, they would say don't use multi effects (just to clarify I feel the same way). But this one just seemed different, so I got it. story in short, it was. I have plenty of experience with effects and recording and what not, and let me tell you this thing is amazing. The tuner is worth that much but the amp sounds are amazing, the distortion is so so but the mods and pre fx are pretty good, I would highly recomend this, at least give it a try.

Nice for the price

By Tom

from El Cajon, CA

Comments about Toneworks AX3G Guitar Modeling Signal Processor:

The Tone is not bad, and it could be easier to program (in fact, without the manual, you don't always know what you're doing.) However, on the plus side: it small (the smallest modelling/multi FX processor I've found), light, and doubles as a headphone amp! It would be nice if it came with a power supply, but the fact that it can run on 4 AA's makes it pretty convenient - even more so than a Pod or V-Amp. It's also got an "acoustic simulator", which makes you electric guitar sound like an acoustic guitar - and it does a pretty good job!! So now you don't have to carry extra guitars to do "that one song" that needs an acoustic.

Value Value Value!

By Birds of Fire

from DFW Metroplex

Comments about Toneworks AX3G Guitar Modeling Signal Processor:

OK, so it has a cheap plastic case and foot pedals. It simply won't do on a stage as a result. But for someone on a budget who wants a full spread of excellent quality effects, this is the bargain of a lifetime. Forget about people who say it "sounds digital". Rubbish. I use it as a line preamp through a Class A stereo amplifier and monitor it through Stax SR-Lambda headphones, which is a merciless system on poor tone quality, by far more revealing than any regular guitar amplifier or studio mixing board. The tone is gorgeous and the effects are excellent.

Nice Price for a mini sound processor

By BlackAbyss18

from Los Angeles ,CA.

Comments about Toneworks AX3G Guitar Modeling Signal Processor:

I believe it is worth the money spent.I know some people may have issues with finding their own custom adjustments(sound). The secret is in the parameters.Different effects layered and levels of parameters are the key.It is clearly labeled as a guitar sound processor, and that's exactly what it is....Good product!

You get what you pay for

By peaveyman

Comments about Toneworks AX3G Guitar Modeling Signal Processor:

I bought this pedal about a month ago, because i was interested in getting a few effects and this sounded like an awsome deal. When i tried it at the store it was to loud to tell. I brought it home and was immidiatly disapointed with it. It just sounds cheap, and really digital.

For the money...Digi What?

By FrankForce

from Crawfordville, FL

Comments about Toneworks AX3G Guitar Modeling Signal Processor:

I have been playing for 7+ years now and I have tried many different multi effects. I borrowed my friends Digitech RP50 and I was not very impressed at all. The AX3G is a great just to have around to practice or play with. The auto wah is the best I have used on any muti effects processor. I would recommend this for anyone that wants allot of great effects for a very low price. Come on is a KORG!!!!!
