The rackmount Tilt 8 Channel EQ is eight channels of a filter centered around 700 Hz that boosts lows and cuts highs on one side of the detent and does the opposite in the other direction. Its original design appeared as an attribute of the Tonelux MP1A mic preamp, but it was singled out and reviewed so well that Tonelux decided to produce an eight-channel version of the same thing. Why? Because Tonelux's momma didn't raise no fool, that's why.
It is ideal for EQ tweaks with single knob control. Picture EQing a drum set in three minutes. It also has an input mute and a phase button. Seeing as a lot of DAWs don't have a phase control, Tonelux's engineers put on their thinking caps and their smarty pants and said collectively,"You could achieve phasing integrity right here!" Add a polarity control and it's a great place to get some gremlins out of your mix. D-Sub in and out for 1-8, as well as an XLR in and out for channels 1 and 2 make it perfect for chaining to other devices, and like all of the gear in Tonelux's growing rackmount line it is presented in Tonelux's sturdy rackmount case and fits any 19" rack.
