Overview

From the vintage sunburst finish to the open geared butterbean tuners, the Loar LH-250 is designed to honor classic small-bodied flat top acoustic guitars from the 1930's. The LH-250 features a solid spruce top, solid mahogany back and sides, a mahogany neck, grained ivoroid body binding and a rosewood fretboard.

The LH-250's smaller body size is great for songwriters and touring musicians who want an acoustic guitar that travels easily and sounds great in any venue. Blues players will love the classic tone, reminiscent of the historic blues boxes of the 1920's and 30's.

The guitar's vintage sound and features with added benefit of all-solid construction make the LH-250 a perfect choice for all styles of playing. Case sold separately.

Comments about The Loar LH-250 Small Body Acoustic Guitar:

this is a great finger picking instrument (flat picking, too)-very responsive-gutsy, old school sound-needed only a minimum setup right out of the box. It's my favorite guitar right now-I keep it close and play it every day-solid wood on back and sides-nice Sitka spruce top-makes a difference

big sound, perfect blues axe, pick or fingers works well, fits in the over head compartment too, stay in tune & drop d or c is a very sweet spot for this guitar. Ed miller.

Comments about The Loar LH-250 Small Body Acoustic Guitar:

I wanted a Parlor sized guitar for quite a while. I like both the sound (bluesy) and the feel. I also wanted a solid wood construction, but can't afford thousands of dollars. This seemed like a good alternative. Very satisfied with this guitar. If you expect a "perfect" finish...save up a grand or so....
Sounds great, feels great. Only thing left is to have it set up..maybe a bit of fret dressing, and it will be a perfectly playable, great sounding, beautiful guitar.
