Simply Put, The Best!!

Like many DJ's I started with other branded name turntables and always seemed to have problems with there performance & durability. Like many of us when we first start out we can't afford the best, but in this case I will tell you from experience "Your instrument is one corner you don't want to cut corners on". The "Industry Standard" for over 20 years, its whats in every major club. I have told everyone that I've helped start out, "Don't waste your time and money on wanna be's, Get something that well last forever" (any Technic 1200 series turntable)

THE Turntable

Yeah, The 1210MK2 - it is exactly what a DJ wants. Heavy base, huge name, useful features, and total street cred. I have owned alot of different tech tables. the 1210 mk2 is as good as any of them - just black, and newer.

PERFECT

This turntable is absolutely perfect for any DJ, whether you be a beginner that has no idea what the heck you're doing, or a pro who is performing live. It is sturdy enough to withstand any kind of abuse from "scratching" the binyl, and the body is indestructable. It is a direct drive turntable which is a huge plus, as the motor drives the platform directly by gears as opposed to a belt drive (driven by a belt) that will slowly wear out. This turntable is my favorite turntable, and i have two of these in my setup that i use for scratching.

UNTOUCHABLE WHEELS OF STEEL

I've been a dj for 10 years now and have tried every turntable out there , but the 1210 mk2 in black is legendary...I've owned a pair of 1200's in silver for years now and they just dont give up, the feel and performance is just what any dj needs. The sleek black finish and high torque in the 1210 mk2 is perfection.

unnecessary components

"Unnecessary components." Those are the key words that dj's should think about when looking for a turntable to last a lifetime. I owned a pair in the late 80's and sold them. Never again will I make that mistake! I've gone through a few 1200's and this new pair will be kept locked in the studio. Going back to the words "unnecessary components," A lot of the newer turntables are becoming digital and suspect will need servicing more often than the industry standard 1200's. When you take apart a 1200, you see solenoids, motor, magnets, resistors and nothing digital. I've only needed a soldering iron to fix ripped ground connectors whereas these digital turntables you will probably need to send out to get repaired. Good luck! Technics will remain the choice brand for serious djs. If you can't afford them now, save your money to get a pair. You will never regret it!!!
