A 2-channel bass amp head handmade in the USA, the Tech 21 Landmark 300 is a 2-rackspace, 300W version of its predecessor, the Landmark 600. It too incorporates proprietary, 100% analog SansAmp Tube Amplifier Emulation technology. It offers a truckload of vintage and modern tube amp sounds, as well as a variety of overdriven tones. The interactive controls give you access to specific tone shaping characteristics to create your own custom sounds as well. Sample settings such as Bassman, SVT, Crimson, and King's X, are included in the owner's manual to get you started. Footswitch not included.

I bought one of these used off of the Guitarcenter website. I was looking for something relatively lightweight, versatile, and powerful enough to replace my Hartke 3500. The Hartke was clean, punchy, and powerful. However, it lacked the growl and sustain of tube amps. I tried a couple of OD pedals in front of it, but none sounded quite authentic. Enter the Landmark! I was really impressed at how well this head performed. Very small changes in the knobs produced big changes in the tone. Very cool in that the (optional) footswitch mutes, switches channels, and enables a 3rd "mix" channel. One downside is that you need the footswitch to mute or mix. It seems to have plenty of power and have full-usable-range of the gain and output knobs, just like to tube amps it claims to emulate. I do kind of miss the onboard compression of the Hartke, but the tube-emulation produces a very even tone, although I'd suggest putting a compressor in front of it if you were going to do a great deal of pop-and-slap stuff for the sake of your cabinet(s). All-in-all an impressive amp at 21 pounds. Well-built, great sounding, cool looking, and a great solution to the age-old weight vs tone dilemma.
This amp totally blew me out of the water! I was expecting a normal sterile Solid State sound but that was not what I got. This amp has amazing tube emulation. I have had people believe this was a 70s SVT! You can get so many tones out of this amp. It's a heck of a bargain and you won't be disappointed.
