The Tech 21 SansAmp GT2 Tube Amp Emulator costs less than the original Sans Amp, and it's easier to set up. So they compromised on sound quality, right? Not as far as we can tell! GT2 purrs and screams with the same kind of fat, warm, glowing-glass sounds heard in the original, but cost-effective manufacturing brought the price down. You select amp type, modification, and mic placement. Find the tone you want using high and low EQ, set your level, dial up distortion with the drive knob, then hit the "on" switch. The Tech 21 SansAmp GT2 is a truckload of tube amps in just one pedal!

With our Guaranteed Lowest Price, you can be assured of complete satisfaction and the lowest available price, or your money back!

  • Best pedal for the job

As reviewed by Leper King on 5/21/2007

I cant say enuff about this pedal. I've tried them all; BOSS Overdrive, Ibanez Tube Screamer, Super Distortion, Metal Zone and many others and this pedal blows them all away. It can make a small practice amp into a beast. You will NOT be dissappointed...GET IT!

  • A wide ranged pedal.

As reviewed by Mic1412 on 10/19/2006

I bought this SansAmp GT2 2 years ago, I was really in to Metal, fusion that time, and this pedal was the best buddy of mine. It has such wide range; it can compete other brand name's product such as Boss and Digitech. It is excellent for playing rock and metal. However the only thing is there isn't a mid channel, so you either need an EQ, or add another dist pedal such as Ibanez TS9 to it, otherwise it will sound very dry. A big advantage of this pedal is that it makes clear dist, dirty enough but still clean. Recommended!

  • Simply mind blowing

As reviewed by Loren on 9/10/2009

The feel and sound of the unit is amazing. I have a '93 Fender Telecaster fitted with Noiseless Pickups. I use my Sansamp through the house and it responds just like an amp. The sound does not feel compressed and breathes. I use the Classic/High Gain/British setting. Lots of crunch and personality. Warm, ballsy and thick. I have had mine for over a decade now and it still is the number 1 preamp for electric guitar for me. Playing through the house is a joy with the Sansamp! Truly an innovation! Nice one Tech21NYC! I am going to try out the Sansamp Blonde now.
