  • Perfect for my needs

As reviewed by Gregory on 4/18/2015

Previously I had a Voodoo Labs ground control which was just way over kill for what I needed. A simple midi foot switch that didn't cost a lot (sold voodoo had money left over). My rig today is: G-major 2 in the effects loop of a EVH 5150 50w. I use the Midi Mouse to send changes such that the effects in the G are turned on and the correct amp channel is selected. The great thing is the 5150 can accept more than one midi patch thus I can have many different patches mapped to channel 2. Example: CC1 = Ch2 + G w/noise gate, CC2 = Ch2 + G w/noise gate + delay, CC3 = Ch3 + G w/noise gate delay. CH3 being used almost like a solo channel. Now I can program and group similar set ups as described above. Oh and it can run off a 9V :)
