Overview

Conceived as a starter guitar for kids, the lovable Baby Taylor has maintained its enduring appeal in part by being a legitimate musical instrument that anyone can enjoy. The three-quarter-size Dreadnought helped touring musicians like Taylor Swift sketch new musical ideas on the road, and it's been a reliable musical accomplice for travelers seeking inspiration while trekking the world. All Baby Taylor models ship with a durable travel-worthy gig bag made by Taylor for optimal fit and protection.

Tone Woods
A guitar's top is the primary filter and distributor of vibrating string energy through the guitar, which means it has a huge impact on its sound. Sitka Spruce is the most prevalent guitar top wood of the modern era. It blends stiffness and elasticity in just the right proportions which translates into broad dynamic range with crisp articulation. The arched back of the guitar generates more sound from a small-bodied instrument, and using layered wood back and sides create a sturdy yet receptive platform for the vibrating string energy sent by the guitar's top. Layered wood is less susceptible to changes in temperature and humidity, making it an excellent choice for players who travel with their instruments or simply require more durability.

What sets Taylor Guitars apart? Unmatched build quality, the most stable and playable necks, a vast array of tonal options, eco-conscious and ethically-sourced raw materials, and a lifetime of service and support.

Comments about Baby Taylor Left-Handed Acoustic Guitar:

Bought this used, and I'm sure it'd never been played. It was in great condition and sounds amazing as well. It's great for air travel and fits in overhead storage perfectly.

    Great buying experience

    By Willa

    from Little Rock, AR

Comments about Baby Taylor Left-Handed Acoustic Guitar:

Bought as a gift knowing little to nothing about guitars or music. Salesperson was very patient, helpful and informative. Shipping went well and very fast. I was able to buy with confidence and the recipient said it was just what he needed for travels with a good sound for the size. Thanks for all the help, Jeremy !

    Will serve its intended purpose

    By Kevin Pelletier _

    from Albuquerque, NM

Comments about Baby Taylor Left-Handed Acoustic Guitar:

I've owned a few "travel" guitars, but this one fits the bill best. More comfortable to play seated or standing than the atrocious Martin Backpacker, and a good fit for my small hands. Action was extremely high, however, so I had to make the necessary adjustments. Will work well for me on my frequent in state travel.
