The Taylor Left-Handed 614CE Grand Auditorium Acoustic-Electric Guitar produces rich bold tone thanks to its carefully-selected tonewoods. The 614CE guitar's big leaf maple and Sitka spruce create bright, crystalline timbre with outstanding projection and warm overtones.
The Taylor 614CE guitar's bright sound is further enriched by the Venetian cutaway Grand Auditorium body. The guitar's sleek form yields strong treble zing across the tonal spectrum and sharpens the definition of each individual note. The left-handed 614CE is great for fingerpicking and also adapts well to medium strumming.
Taylor 614CE appointments include an ebony headstock overlay, a beautiful abalone rosette, white binding, and artful abalone fretboard inlays.
To faithfully reproduce your 614CE guitar's native tone, the onboard Taylor Expression System uses patented Dynamic Sensors to capture vibrations from the top and strings as never before. Created in partnership with renowned audio pioneer, Rupert Neve, the Taylor ES is seamlessly integrated into the 614CE guitar from the ground up. Onboard tone controls provide added flavor, or set them flat for uncolored, exceptionally clean amplified sound.
Taylor developed the finish used for the 610CE guitar's lustrous gloss top, back, and sides for maximum durability and resistance to cold-checking. The ultraviolet-cured Taylor finish is also more environmentally friendly than traditional lacquer finishes.

Taylor 614 CE 6 sring is a joy to play with bright cheery tone that a big leaf maple sides and back produce with a Stika spruce top. When I start playing the people listen and know the good times are about to begin. I recommend this guitar to the accomplished or beginning musician. The compliments i get I bought the Taylor 654 CE 12 string built with same back and top now I am in heaven. I played 12 string rarely but now I play it in concert a lot swaping between the 614 and 654. I was looking at Collins, Gibsons and Martins but the Taylors had the best sound and quality.
There's a company who won't charge you for being left-handed! This guitar is absolutely incredible. Very bright sounding, but if you put phosphor bronze strings on it, it will darken up a bit. I got mine in a honey amber finish with a 3 piece back. Let's just say people think I'm crazy for not leaving it in a case!
