Overview

The Taylor 210ce Rosewood/Spruce Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar will change your expectations about what a serious entry-level instrument can embody. Featuring a solid Sitka spruce top and Indian rosewood back and sides, this dreadnought delivers the quality sound and feel you'd expect from a Taylor. Now available with Taylor's Under-Saddle Transducer pickup, the 210ce has the classic look of a rosewood/spruce Dreadnought and is optimized for performance with cutaway access.

Indian Rosewood/Solid Sitka
The beauty of Indian rosewood is captured in the 200 Series. Rosewood backs and sides are paired with a solid Sitka spruce top, producing a full, rich tone with ample volume, resonance, and sustain.

Dreadnought (DN)
The Taylor Dreadnought is a focused guitar with plenty of presence, recently redesigned to be even more assertive. It's the traditional choice for the traditional player; the model to drive with a heavy pick.

Taylor ES-T
Devloped by the same Taylor team that invented the Expression System pickup, the Taylor ES-T Under-Saddle Transducer takes piezo technology to another level. Optimized for the 100 and 200 Series, the system features onboard Bass, Treble, and Volume controls plus custom-voiced EQ and dynamic response.

Includes gig bag.

Can't put it down!

By JAMES THORPE

from Midland, TX

I initially tried to purchase a Cordoba classical, but when it arrived damaged in shipping, I returned it to a nearby Guitar Center store where the asst. manager gladly refunded my money and gave me a 10% discount on this baby. Sounds excellent plugged or unplugged, looks great awesome! Extremely playable up the neck into the cutaway (the deciding factor between this guitar and its Martin contemporary)with an exceptionally balanced tone. A very special thanks to Kelly at GC in Lubbock, whose professionalism during this transaction was above-board. Definitely recommend this product, and Taylor Guitars in general.

Great guitar

By Zachary Fox

from Pennsylvania

I went to guitar center and played many guitars for many hours and really liked the 200 series from Taylor and the 210ce was in my price range so I decided on this one. It looks great, feels good, and sounds really good!

Disappointed

By Christopher Ross

from Florida

This is my first Taylor guitar. I have been playing the same guitar for 14 years with no problems. I finally decided to buy a new one and went with the 210e. It was brand new, in the box when I got it. It sounded great except for when I plugged it in. Only 2 out of the 6 strings would correctly pick up through the sound system. I tried new TRS cables, but it still didn't work. I then swapped it for a floor model 210e which a few days later I realized had the same issue (but not as noticeable). I then returned it to the store and they gave me a 210ce. This one, I did my extensive testing in the store...only to find it had the SAME EXACT ISSUE. Seriously??? 3 guitars all having the same issue. They found what the problem was, the transducer was not making good connection with the saddle. They put a wedge under the transducer and it sounds better. However, at this point I am done with the 200 series guitar. I am taking it back and saving up for a 300 series. The 100 & 200 series use the ES-T system and starting at the 300 series they use the full Expression System and there is no transducer under the saddle. I am not impressed with the ES-T system and the issues I've had with it and would not recommend it to anyone else. Save up and buy a better Taylor.

In Any Price Range...

By Clint Campagna

from Seattle

I have played guitar for over 40 years. The Taylors play as smooth as many electrics and sound great plugged or unplugged. I currently own a 210ce that I would compare head-to-head with any acoustic I have ever owned or played. At one-quarter the price of some of these others, IMHO Taylor still sounds just as good or better.
