Overview

The full-sized, solid spruce top and sapele-body of the Taylor 110e Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar delivers the Taylor guitar experience with a lively tone. Laminated sapele back and sides and a solid spruce top make for crisp and well-defined sound in this versatile mid-priced guitar. A durable varnish finish offers protection, good looks, and a smooth feel.

The ES Blue pickup is derived from the same technology developed for the Expression System. The ES Blue utilizes a proprietary Dynamic String Sensor. ES-T electronics and a Taylor-devised active preamp provide great plugged-in tone and volume. The result is a high-fidelity, low-impedance signal for clear, acoustic amplified tone.

A traditional shape refined, Taylor's dreadnought combines classic volume and bass response with the definitive Taylor sound: clear trebles and an open, airy midrange. Dreadnought guitars respond especially well to flatpicking or light-to-heavy strumming.

Nice Guitar, Nicer Price

By ourfriendscallusalonzo

from Vancouver, Wa

Comments about Taylor 110e Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I bought my 110 e in late december 2006. Since then I have played it almost everyday. This guitar is amazing. The sound is awesome and it plays like butter. I also love the fact the the wood doesn't shine. It makes this guitar stand out. Also the rounded back gives it a much bigger sound. A friend of mine let me play his Taylor 310 and I would always choose this over his. The one thing that would be nice is a volume control because I usuallly plug direclty into the mains. But for now, the sound guy just has to adjust it .

Happy Valentines Day

By Andrew

from Lutz FL

Comments about Taylor 110e Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

My wife bought me a 110e for Valentines Day...Whoa! what an awesome gift...the guitar? AWESOME...sounds great plugged-in or un-plugged...and plays sweet...and looks beautiful...I like the arched back...pretty cool! I own 4 other really nice guitars (30 yr old Ovation, Alvarez-Yari 12 string, Ibanez Jumbo, Little Martin)...but my Taylor is quickly becoming my favorite "gig" guitar. My wife? AWESOME...Thanks Honey

Great Guitar!!

By MMP

from Phoenix, AZ

Comments about Taylor 110e Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I received my Taylor 110-E as a gift from my girlfriend who rocks and have enjoyed playing the guitar quite a bit. I would say the fit and finish quality are great, especially for this guitar. The tone has a good presence and is deep and punchy when played hard. I would say the action is a little high, yet certainly this guitar has surpassed my expectations. Overall, at great choice for a guitar and would recommend it to anyone.

Comments about Taylor 110e Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I've owned this guitar for 4 months and can't put it down. I also own a Taylor 714ce. I searched for a guitar under $1000 and couldn't find anything that sounds and plays as nice as the 110ce. Fantastic value!!

Buy this one!

By Mike

from Bremerton, WA

Comments about Taylor 110e Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

If you're looking for an affordable acoustic electric, this is your guitar. I've had a few of my friends who own much more expensive guitars play my 110-E, and they're blown away by it's sound and feel. It sings whether you're playing it with or without an amp. Kudos to Taylor for making a quality instrument for those on a limited budget.

You won't regret this purchase!

By Rachael =)

from Arizona baby!

Comments about Taylor 110e Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

So I just bought my very first guitar and what kind was it? A Taylor 110 e, of course! I had never even played this model, I was going only from recomendations. I went to guitar center one day and played, oh, about 6 different guitars of all kinds and of all them the Taylors sounded the best. So I decided to risk blowing $650 of my hard earned cash on a product I'd never played and I ordered it. I couldn't be happier with my purchase!! The sound is so clear and warm and it playes beautifully! I love the way it looks too. If you're even considering buying this guitar, I promise you won't be let down!

Awesome

By TT300ZX

from Columbus, IN

Comments about Taylor 110e Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I have owned mine for about three years now. I have never had a problem with it except for dead batteries from using it so much. The only thing I don't like is lack of a finish and the thinness of the wood. It makes the guitar weak and prone to blemishes, but that's what gives it it's great tone, so I would change nothing about this guitar.

Best Bang for your buck...

By cowboy_rick

from Portland, OR

Comments about Taylor 110e Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I bought this Guitar in July of 05. I Played many of the Taylor 110 guitars before I found this one. I couldn't be more happier with my choice. This Guitar continues to get better every time I play it. The only thing that brings the features score down is the inability to do your eq on your guitar. You have to do it all from the board. But that's fine. The pick up in the guitar works great. I was very suprised and very very pleased how it sounded when pluged in. Buy this Guitar, you won't be disapointed.

Everyone of my friends who plays guitar has either a) talked about how much they want or or b) flat out bought a taylor. Honestly, for the price your paying for this acoustic you wont find anything better. The sounds great and it responds well no matter your attack.

Taylor 110-E

By jconway

from Philadelphia

Comments about Taylor 110e Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I picked this guitar up in the acoustic room on my last trip to my local Guitar Center. I was surprised at how good this guitar sounded, better than any acoustic I've ever played. The action was great and confortable. Great quality and just really a beauty. As I was playing the guitar, I thought to myself, "Hmm, I wonder if this is an electric-acoustic?" Sure enough, it was! When I plugged it in I was amazed at the tone on this baby. Sounded great! One thing I would have liked are volume and tone controls, and possibly a built-in tuner. But, for the price of this excellent guitar, the guitar is just great even without them. Try it out and see for yourself. Great guitar for great value!

signature Taylor sound & quality @ value price

By MellowFellow

from Dayton, OH

Comments about Taylor 110e Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I've always loved the sound of a Taylor, but did not want to throw all the cash towards one. Found one at quality price with no compromise on playability and sound. The ES Blues system sounds surprisingly nice on my Fender Acoustic amp.

Comments about Taylor 110e Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I am so new that I bought this guitar 1 hour before my first lesson. I took some advice from a very close friend and bought the one that sounded good to me. Well, she was right! What a great guitar. Even my guitar teacher was impressed with my purchase. Now knowning a little more, I would go about it in the same way and would buy a Taylor again. Thanks to folks at Guitar Center for taking the time to help me choose a wonderful instrument.
