  I received this guitar as a Christmas gift from my wife. She knew I wanted a 12 string and called a friend who knows guitars and among the brands he mentioned was Taylor. It was a total shock as my wife was against me getting another guitar to add to my collection. At first, I was unsure about the guitar and unfamiliar with Taylor. Over the next couple of days I figured out from playing it that this was no ordinary guitar. I love playing guitar perhaps more than anything else, and this guitar has really spiked my interest in playing. This guitar is so easy to play and it sounds so good. The sound is a little higher than my others but it's a great sound. I just can't imagine finding a more expensive guitar that plays as well as this one. And the case it came in is 100% first class. And I keep this one in the case when I'm not playing it. Best gift I ever got.

  This is the most beautiful sounding guitar I have ever played! I purchased it from Guitar Center in Oxnard California. While trying out several different guitars, I found this to be the easiest to play and the best sounding. The guitar is very light weight and easy to play. I can?t put it down! I strummed the guitar and timed the ring of the strings, it was 25 seconds long. The Sapele backs and sides produce such a big sound and match perfectly with the solid spruce top. It shocked me the first time I strummed this guitar and could feel the air around the guitar moving! The Sapele is truly a great tone wood, and all my future guitars will be made from Sapele. You can?t go wrong with this guitar; it?s truly the best thing I have done to further my guitar playing. I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Taylor hard shell case is very well made and fits the guitar perfectly. The only complaint I have, is I?m having trouble using a capo. I tried two different kinds; the old style and the newest is the Planet Waves all metal capo. You squeeze it to set the tension. Both capos buzz on the smaller diameter bass strings. There may be a way to use a capo on a 12 string guitar but I haven?t figured it out yet. I should mention While trying out guitars at G.C., I played several Martins and Gibson, some in the $5,000 range none of them even came close to this guitar! This is the best sounding guitar for the money; now go try one for your self. You be glad you did.
