The Taylor K64ce Jumbo Acoustic-Electric 12-String Guitar is an exotic feast of figure, color and sound with its Hawaiian koa back, sides, and top. This rare and exotic tonewood is prized for its stunning golden hues, bold grain figure, and sweet tone. The visual allure of the koa is complemented with shimmering abalone trim around the top and soundhole, while figured maple binds the body, fingerboard, soundhole, peghead, and heelcap. The K64ce Jumbo 12-String Guitar is performance-ready, with a Venetian cutaway and Taylor's Expression System electronics.
The Jumbo's size suits it perfectly for aggressive strumming, but it's capable of sublime subtleties as well. While this shape gives you the greatest top surface, it's quielled by the waist's curvature and positions. The Taylor K64ce Guitar is a strummer with a rich, orchestral sound.
Designed to faithfully reproduce true acoustic guitar tone, the Expression System utilizes patented Dynamic Sensors to capture top and string vibration like never before. Created in partnership with renowned audio pioneer, Mr. Rupert Neve, the Taylor Expression System is seamlessly integrated into the design of the guitar from the ground up. Onboard tone controls provide added flavor, or set flat for an uncolored, exceptionally clean amplified sound.
The finish used to create the lustrous gloss top, back, and sides of the K64ce acoustic electric guitar was developed at Taylor for maximum durability and resistance to cold-checking. This ultra violet-cured finish is also more environmentally friendly than traditional lacquer finishes.
