  • A good deal

    As reviewed by on 7/5/2006

Played this next to the all laminate Little Martin ($10 more) and it clearly sounded better. It is also comparable to many small bodied $300-range full size guitars. It does NOT sound anywhere near as good as my full size solid wood Guild. But for the money, it is great, and it is very addicting to play. Should be good for my kids to learn on too.

  • Eazeist guitar to play

As reviewed by shane on 4/11/2011

the baby taylor is a dream to play. frets are super easy to play, big sounds, looks... kinda plain to tell the truth, little off by the two screws that keep the neck on, but not ugly by any means of the word. I bought mine for the summer got tired of lugging my full size guitars to the lake and camping, with the baby taylor I'm not going to be drowned out with my friends full guitars and I'm going to be teaching my nine yearold neece how to play so 3/4 guitar is perfect for her. comes with a pretty nice gig bag.I really like this guitar and well probably be givin to my neece when she gets alittle older and then i'll get the gs mini haha

  • little guitar, big sound

As reviewed by Carmen on 2/26/2011

I went into guitar center looking for a more portable/playable guitar and the salesperson recommended this guitar to me. I was kind of skeptical at first because of how light it felt but after taking it home and playing it for a couple weeks, I am absolutely in love. I actually prefer to play it over my other two dreadnaught guitars for the sheer fact that it takes so much less effort. granted, if I were performing I would probably still use a dreadnaught because of their durability, but I'm thinking I'll probably record a few things using this baby taylor. it's amazing and so much fun to play. obviously, the guitar is fun-sized. why wouldn't it be? but I would caution anyone who buys it to keep it properly humidified (not too much or too little!). if you take care of the guitar, I'm sure it will work wonders for you like it has with me!
