A beautiful 12-string of exceptional clarity and volume for its size.

The Taylor 654ce 12-string Grand Auditorium is a cutaway acoustic-electric guitar that gains power and clarity from its synergistic blend of tonewoods: Sitka spruce and Maple. A signature quality of Big Leaf maple — besides its crisp, bright tone — is its ability to cut through on stage. In live performance situations, your 654ce you will easily able to hold its own with the rest of the band. The Taylor 654ce is a visual standout, too with its jaw-dropping maple figured back and sides.

Taylor 12-string guitars deliver the same easy-to-hold, stay-in-tune playability as their six-string siblings. With their comfortable necks, Taylor 12-strings are ideal for the mainly six-string guitarist as well as the true 12-string enthusiast. All Taylor acoustic/electric 12-string guitars feature the Taylor Expression Electronic System and a Venetian cutaway.

Taylor 654ce - 12 string guitar

I have to admit I was a bit concerned about ordering an acoustic guitar over the internet but since local dealers didn't have any available and I was assured I could return it if not satisfied, I took the plung. I could not be more pleased with my guitar. I simply unpacked it,tuned it and found the sound both acoustically and over an acoustic amp. are great. It stays tuned and the action makes it as easy to play as my 6 string guitars. The finish was flawless and beautiful.
