An affordable dreadnought with a solid spruce top, rosewood back and sides, and Taylor ES-T electronics.

The Taylor 2012 210e Rosewood/Spruce Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar features a solid Sitka spruce top and Indian rosewood back and sides bringing the quality sound and feel you expect from a Taylor. With Taylor's new ES-T under-saddle transducer, this affordably-priced, solid-top Dreadnought can be plugged-in to add a new dimension to your Taylor tone.

Indian Rosewood Laminate/Solid Sitka
The beauty of Indian rosewood is captured in the 200 Series. Laminate backs and sides are paired with a solid Sitka spruce top, producing a full, rich tone with ample volume, resonance, and sustain.

Dreadnought (DN)
The Taylor Dreadnought is a focused guitar with plenty of presence, recently redesigned to be even more assertive. It's the traditional choice for the traditional player; the model to drive with a heavy pick.

Taylor ES-T
Devloped by the same Taylor team that invented the Expression System pickup, the Taylor ES-T Under-Saddle Transducer takes piezo technology to another level. Optimized for the 100 and 200 Series, the system features onboard Bass, Treble, and Volume controls plus custom-voiced EQ and dynamic response.

Gloss Top/Satin Back & Sides
The finish used to create this guitar's textured satin back and sides and lustrous gloss top was developed at Taylor for maximum durability and resistance to cold-checking. This ultraviolet-cured finish is also more environmentally friendly than traditional lacquer finishes.

Includes gig bag.

  • Taylor 210e. Best for the money!!!

As reviewed by Josh Ferrin on 9/10/2012

I bought this guitar about 1 year ago and it has been amazing!!!! Always the quality you expect from Taylor. But the cost of an Ibanez. Really bright highs and mids, and punchy lows. An awesome guitar! Love playing it every minute i can! Small fretboard for those players with smaller hands. easy to play and makes you a better guitarist for sure. In the music industry, you pay for what you get most of the time and i believe you get way more than what you pay for with this guitar!!! Includes elixir strings, hard/soft carrying case that is actually really nice. I didn't have to buy a hardcase for it because the case is very sturdy!!! Pockets to store everything you need for a gig. Easy zipper to open up and pull out to get playing. I definitely do recommend the intellitouch PT10 mini chromatic tuner with it!!! clips right on to headstock and tunes by vibration in the neck! Makes it a breeze to pull out, tune, and get playing in under a minute. Also the guitar stays in tune very well and hardly gets off at all !!!!! Very nice feature. Overall- don't buy another guitar!!! Buy this one! Seriously you won't be dissappointed at all. Everything a moderate to advanced player would want in a guitar!!!!

  • Made In Mexico

As reviewed by Christopher on 11/11/2014

A thousand dollars for a Mexican guitar. Very disappointed with the quality and playability. My fault though, I thought for the price there was no way it wasn't American made. My third Taylor, and the worst of the bunch.

  • Great, but...

As reviewed by Joe Chambers on 7/22/2013

I bought this guitar because when I played it in the store it sang a song that was sweet to the ears. It's a great guitar, especially for the price. When I purchased the guitar 3 years ago I was a bit naive. I didn't really know that much about the world of mid to high-end acoustic guiitars, so I missed a few details that would sway my decision process today. So, perspective buyers, this is a great guitar, but you should know there are no braces on the bottom, just the top. Not a huge difference in sound, but structurally, this is definitely a shortcut.
