Exceptional construction, solid spruce top, sapele back and sides, and lively tone for a song!

The Taylor 110 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar gives you crisp, sweet tone with great visual appeal from an ebony fretboard and detailed finish. Refined traditional guitar shape and scalloped X-bracing accentuate the open, airy midrange you expect from a Taylor. Responds especially well to flat picking and heavy strumming.

  • extremely satisfied after 2 years!

As reviewed by matthew wooten on 3/26/2010

ive owned this guitar for two years, and while the finish may appear kind of plain, i assure this is a very well assembled and durable guitar. it requires minimal effort to maintain, and still sounds just as good if not better than the day i got it. the sound of this guitar is amazing. i spent about a month and about 6 trips to my local guitar center playing ALL of the accoustics. i was going to buy a more high dollar guitar but after playing this one i was sold on it. in my honest opinion the only guitar that surpasses the bright tone of this guitar that i have played, would be a gibson songwriter. but that kind of pricey

  • Taylor 110 Can't Stop Playing

As reviewed by David on 6/6/2010

I had an Epi for 30 years and went into GC to buy the Martin I always wanted. My brother in law has a Taylor and said to check them out. Played the 110 and it beat out even the expensive Martin's. The cheaper Martin's didn't compare in terms of tone, range, and playability. Best part was my Father, a professional musician his whole life came with me to check out the guitars. He was really impressed and bought it for me for ny 50th Birthday. My only problem with this guitar is I can't stop playing it!

  • very impressive

As reviewed by John on 3/23/2010

One Sunday I stopped into my local Guitar Center to check out some acoustics. I played many guitars that day including Martins, Seagulls, Epiphone Masterbilts, Taylors, etc., and I finally settled on this baby for its bright tone, body(as in sound), and it's resonance. I'm glad I purchased this guitar. I was so pleased with it that I showed it to a friend of mine who has been playing guitar for thirty years(who also teaches guitar at a college level), and he even said that he liked it better than his personal guitar[a Martin(in which the model he owns costs more than the Taylor 110)]. He even said that he regrets not buying a Taylor. Don't listen to my words though. When buying a guitar it's all about the tone YOU want. Though, I'd recommend this guitar, make sure you play many guitars to find the one that suits you(tonally) the best.
