    The PSK Is an upgrade from the standard Taye Pedal set. The frame is heavier, has more adjustments, but is just as smooth. I have played numerous pedals..from Pearl, DW and others. The PSK is by far my favorite pedal, the smoothness combined with the heaver construction is the right combination. I purchased the PSK for my practice set, it was an incredible surprise to feel this kind of precision, at this kind of price!! Don't waste your money on those hyped up expensive pedals...

    I got this pedal for Christmas on 2010 and I am VERY impressed. It's pretty easy to adjust everything, and the beaters and double chain drives are just magnificent! In the beginning, I only had issues with finding the right tension for myself; but that wasn't an issue with the pedals, just an issue with personal preference. Overall, I would say that these pedals are for anyone and everyone who wants a somewhat cheap but HIGHLY reliable double bass pedal. I play death metal, jazz, and grunge metal and this thing goes above and beyond my expectations :)
