Overview

The HC33BW Stage Master Boom Cymbal Stand from Tama features a boom/straight convertible tilter, so if there's no room for a boom, simply convert to a straight stand! The boom arm stores neatly inside the upper tube.

The M8 threaded rod is also thicker to withstand the hardest hitters. A new round-shaped Cymbal Mate can be spun easily with just a flick of the finger, but thanks to non-threaded sections on both the tilter and the Cymbal Mate, the Cymbal mate won't spin off the top of the tilter during normal play. You can choose two Cymbal Mate positions for ride or China cymbals for a looser or tighter fit.

Are cymbal stands just for supporting cymbals? Tama thinks that cymbal stands are also musical instruments. All Tama cymbal stands in the Roadpro and Swingstar lineups were designed with the elimination of stand noise a top priority. A special rubber cap at the end of the upper tube eliminates swaying and rattling, and a special nylon sleeve underneath the die-cast joint of the base section further reduces swaying.

The cymbal bottom protects the cymbal's center hole from the tilter's shaft and threads. If part of the nylon sleeve wears out, you can continue to use the cymbal bottom by turning it upside down.

This cymbal stand has a 15-3/4" (400m) boom arm length, 25.4mm-diameter base section tubing, and features double-braced legs.

Great!

By Harry

from Indep., MO.

Comments about Tama Stage Master Double-Braced Boom Cymbal Stand:

I beileve the Stage Master boom is one of the two stands that came with my swingstar. Might have been just a swingstar stand, I know they have a hi-hat and snare stand just for that seires, idk. But this stand is great either way. Its has with stood 4 1/2 years of beating. I use to hold my 16". If your a little short on cash grab one. Look for "Harry's" review on the Roadpro (cheaper one, boom) I'll be getting one of those soon. Should review in a short while. Grab one of these, its great. I don't use any additions on it, so can't say how it holds extra stuff.

Comments about Tama Stage Master Double-Braced Boom Cymbal Stand:

This stand is very sturdy. It holds up my 17" A Rock Crash, and i have a splash arm clamped to it and it stays put. Definately recommend this stand.

Great Stands!

By Michael

from Baie-Comeau, Qubec, Canada

Comments about Tama Stage Master Double-Braced Boom Cymbal Stand:

I have 3 of these with my Tama drums and I love 'em! One of 'em holds my double tom mount (which usually goes on the bass drum) with both toms (obviously), a 12" and 13", with a clamp + another clamp holding a cymbal boom arm holding my 16" crash. Really sturdy and tough! I recommend it greatly if you don't have a lot of money to spend on stands!

    Overkill for most drummers

    By Larry Mersereau

    from Des Moines, IA

Comments about Tama Stage Master Double-Braced Boom Cymbal Stand:

These stands are wonderful. But if you're like me and have to carry your own equipment, the single braced Stagemaster is easily strong and stable enough..at considerably less weight. If you have roadies, buy these. If you're like me, take a look at the lighter Stagemaster before you order.

    it wiggles a lot

    By LUIS MALDONADO

    from Kent, WA

Comments about Tama Stage Master Double-Braced Boom Cymbal Stand:

ive had this stand for about 5 months now and i have had a Zildjian 18" china on it the whole time. and every time i hit it, the stand shakes way more violently than the other boom stands i have. so i compared this stand with the Sound Percussion boom stand, i put the same size cymbal on each and hit both and this TAMA stand was starting to tip itself. the other stand didnt even move. AND, recently i saw that the boom arm was unscrewing itself from the stand!! i mean come on really? i wouldnt recommend this but you can do what you want, in my opinion, the Sound Percussion stand is so much better.
