I have used Tama hardware for most of my professional career. There is no better hardware on the market for the money. With over 20 years of being set up, torn down, thrown into a trap case and jostled around, their hardware still looks like new, and is always dependable. I have never had one instance in all that time of even a small part on any of their hardware break or wear out. This snare stand is even better now that it includes the nylon bushings. If there were more than 5 stars to give, I would give them even more. Great job Tama!
I love this stand! It's solid as a rock and easily adjustable. I could not get my snare as low as it was with my old stand but that's okay because it was too low before. I raised up my throne a few inches to compensate and have really enjoyed the new feel to my kit.
When i went to guitar center i was going to get a Pacific 800 snare stand for my tom, but they were out of stock. This one was recommended to me so i checked it out and bought it. When i tried it out i was very happy because its sturdy and i like how the tilter doesnt have teeth because it allows me to get that "perfect set-up". I have both this and the Pacific 800. I'd have to say i like this one more but the price is a bit sketchy.
This stand was amazing. I got this stand with my drumset and it held up real good, but I like my drums pretty low, and this stand didnt go as low as I needed (seeing as I have a deeper snare drum), but it was great with a shallower sanre drum at a lower hieght. Overall get it if your looking for an amazing stand at a low price.
I have this Tama RoadPro Snare Drum stand for about three weeks and it is the best stand I've had to date. It's built solid and easy to set up.It looks more expensive than it is. Wouldn't go back to my old stand after using this one.
