This is the loudest metronome I have ever heard in my life. It's great for the studio and live performances, especially for the LED light when you're in a dark club. It's a little on the expensive side but I swear you won't regret it. It's the total essential for someone to keep time.

Does it job

By J MONTE THOMPSON

from Crawfordsville, IN

It is pretty easy to use. It is replacing a Yamaha ClickStation which I loved - but it began to consistantly malfunction. It is easy to program and use. But what it lacks are 1) a "down beat button" so that in the middle of a song, if the the timing gets off you can hit a button on the "one" and get re-synced. 2) The ability to go back instead of just forward in your programmed tempo list. If you go past your desired setting, you must go through the entire 30 presets to get back to where you want. For the price, it is a good value.

The Best Metronome period

By Skovy

from Ventura, CA

I have had my Tama Rhythm Watch for a couple of years. It is mounted to my hi-hat stand and I use it regularly. Easy to dial in just the right tempo and rhythm. The "tap" feature is great for determining the tempo of a recording. Volume is adjustable down to zero. Flashing lights keep time in silent mode. I use it silently at band practice and performances so we play at consistent tempos. Like having a silent click track. Well built. I have dropped it a couple of times, and it still works. Made of plastic, so not indestructible. If I broke it, I would buy another immediately. Designed for drummers, but useful for any musician. Highly recommended

Almost Perfect Drummer Metronome

By Drumphil

from Kent, WA

This is the best metronome currently on the market that I've seen. Very simple and easy to operate. The only reason I'm giving it 4 instead of 5 stars is because I wish the speaker had a little more power. There again it's loud enough to do the job, but for a drummer's metronome I'd like it to put out enough volume so that it can easily be heard while practicing drums. I'm used to the old DB-66 Dr. Beat, which had a little more power than this.

Follow two little lights

By Loveman

from San Jose, CA

This metronome has lots of features and is very flexible. There are several tone adders that can be used to sync up to the beat. The TAP function is invaluable. I set up our set list and can go to the next song with a single tap. I drop this down to 4 stars because I'm used to a mechanical metronome where I can watch the pendulum swing back and forth. The Tama has two lights that blink, and its very hard for me to sync up to these lights if I get off tempo while playing. The quick setup is great, but I miss the pendulum.

Rythm Watch

By Ken Kingery

from Germantown Wi

I will NOT play out without my Tama Rythm Watch ever again. The band leader can not accuse you of a poor meter or wrong tempo, as you can show them on the display. End of conversation!

Everything you need in a metronome!

By logan

from Houston, TX

I've been playing with the Tama rhythm watch for about 4 years now. What's great about this metronome is that 1) the volume is sufficient for any decent-good headphones. There's not only a main volume dial, but one for each of the accent beats you may be playing with. I.e. (quarter notes, eighth, triplets.) 2)It's extremely practical for any live or recording situation. The metronome has a simple on and off tap button in the middle and can store many pre-recorded tempos. And 3) It's easy to use and works well with any musical style or situation. Weather you're playing a 6/8 groove, standard 4/4 timing, or something as obscure as 9/8, the settings and possibilities with the Tama rhythm watch make it the most practical, easy to use, and capable metronome on the market, not to mention a great price! I would recommend it to anyone wanting to make their musicianship a better experience!

This is IT.

By abf1983

from Tucson, Az

I just bought this. It is amazing. I was always a back-up drummer(guitarist) thinking I didnt really need a metronome. When I needed to fill in quite a bit I chose this one. The best desicion I made, all the others out there are childs play compared to the Rhythm Watch. Buy it!

Very nice and LOUD!!

By k-dog milan

from BR, MIchigan

This is a great metronome. Before when i played marimba, drumset, and other loud percussion instruments, i could almost never hear my old metronome, UNTIL THIS ONE!!! :) it is easy to use, and you can attach it to a cymbal stand! The metronome isn't all that big, and it is small enough to be very portable.

Durable Metronome

By JesusDrummer777

from Houston,TX

This is a really great metronome, prolly the best on the market. Its loud, can go up to 250bpm and has a back light. Ive dropped it a few times, but it just keeps on ticking. Its great for isolation headphones. A must for every drummer.
