Overview

The Tama Iron Cobra hi-hat was designed to be the perfect counterpart to Iron Cobra bass pedals. Iron Cobra hi-hats offer incomparable sensitivity, lightning fast action, player friendly adjustments, and an absolutely noiseless design.

The idea of replacing the traditional pull mechanism with a lever design was a genuinely revolutionary concept. Our Iron Cobra version uses roller bearings at the lever fulcrum for even smoother footboard action while a super-strong Kevlar strap connects the footboard and pull rod for even, noise-free action.

Comments about Tama Iron Cobra HH905N Lever Glide Hi-Hat Stand:

Common wisdom has it that hi-hat stands are just about all equal, that cheaper stands are just as good as those that are more expensive.

Let me tell you, that is not the case. I bought a middle priced two legged hi-hat stand after spending a fortune on the drums themselves. Ugh, what a mistake, It wobbled and made terrible noises. I had previously had a Tama Road-Pro model that I liked a lot, and decided to go back to Tama -- only this time to the Iron Cobra Level Glide.

And what a nice piece of hardware it is. it's not lightweight, but the ease of playing and making adjustments, more than make up for it. And since it's build like a tank, I figure to have it for a long time. Well done again, Tama. Well done.

    Couldn't be more pleased!

Comments about Iron Cobra HH905N Lever Glide Hi-Hat Stand:

Let's me get my Hi-Hat and double bass drum pedal side by side with no obstructions limiting my left foot from moving back and forth between the two. The obvious concern for me was stability. This stand is nice and stable on two leg design. Lot's of extra features. Absolutely worth the $$$

I use this with my Roland TD25K electric drums. It's smooth action & very heavy duty build & stability are a must.

Comments about Tama Iron Cobra HH905N Lever Glide Hi-Hat Stand:

I've had this stand for 10 years! Best investment to my kit. It's been everywhere with Me .its heavy and compact I love how the pedal folds up when storing in the trunk for a gig. Super fast response doesn't skip a beat holds down nice and tight. Plus u can adjust legs to fit ur left double bass pedal

        AWESOME

Comments about Tama Iron Cobra HH905N Lever Glide Hi-Hat Stand:

Just bought the Iron Cobra today and I LOVE IT. I need room for my Iron Cobra Double Kick I bought yesterday. The Hat stand I had was just garbage and would not fit. I had to put it three feet away from the slave pedal. Bout the two leg Iron Cobra, Momma_Mia! everything just fits like a glove. Of course I have to mentioned how smooth the action is, and the sharp sounds I can create. I plan on reading in detail the adjustment for preferences, and I'm sure I will be in Heaven Again. Two Thumbs Up My Fellow Drummers.

        Tama HH905N Iron Cobra HiHat

        By Louis Caballero

Comments about Tama Iron Cobra HH905N Lever Glide Hi-Hat Stand:

The HH905N Hi Hat is absolutely the best I've ever played. It is solid, ergonomic, great looking, has many features, & very fast. I can play quarter notes at 200 bpm, no problem! This is the second Iron Cobra I've owned, although my first one is still in great shape! I have 2 drumkits. I highly recommend this hi hat for anyone who wants the best at a great price.
