The Tama Iron Cobra Power Glide Single Pedal is the result of the continuing evolution of Tama kick pedals. The innovative Cobra Coil pedal spring accelerates the return of the footboard to its original position. The result is unbelievably effortless action that sets the already smooth Iron Cobra apart from all other pedals on the market. The Cobra Coil is a standard feature on all Iron Cobra models.
Power Glide off-set cam pedals are typically chosen by players who want steady, powerful, and speedy action.

Bought one about 6 months back and love it to death! however I Recently bought a DW 9000, mainly because all of my buddies swore by them, but once I played it during a band practice, it did not give anywhere near as much power as my Iron Cobra did, the DW just didn't feel right. My foot started to get really tired really quickly with the DW, I've never had that problem with the Iron cobra! Overall This pedal is faster, smoother and more comfortable than any other pedal ive played on, it just does what your foot tells it to almost effortlessly. Do yourself a favor and buy one.
I bought the double bass version of this pedal 3 years ago, and it is the best pedal out there! I was going to buy the pearl demon drive pedal, but then this one caught my eye and i instantly fell in love with it. I have absolutley no complaints about this pedal!!
This was my first upgrade from a nameless brand so im really glad i bought this one, even though it was used, but i gave it 4 stars because to me this pedal bounces back to much but really don't know if that's the tension or the pedal but overall this is a really great pedal for any type of music and i actually chose this pedal over the dw5000 so for any drummer trying to get a quick upgrade and your in this budget i recommend you buy this!
I bought two of these pedals about one month ago. They are smoother and have a quicker return than the DW 5000 pedals that I had before. The Iron Cobras have plenty of adjustment and are quick and easy to get them set up the way you like. I was worried that the light beater may not be loud enough as I don't hit that hard but they provide more punch than I thought they would. I will still probably change them out soon though to try and get a little more volume when I am not mic'ed up. Overall one of the top pedals on the market. DW 9000 is probably the only others that would compare to these.
