As a safety manager in the food industry, the last thing that most people would think of or consider is musical equipment in the workplace. Our need was simple but nothing we have tried has worked. On our packing line, the operators have to sit for long periods (12 hour shifts) sealing 50 lbs. bags of dry mix. Since we have different people of different heights, most chair that can be raised or lowered will lose their mechanical functions within a few week. The chairs sit too deep to support your back and the wear & tear in the mixing enviroment is brutal on chairs. The Ergo Rider has the support we need for the team members backs (fully adjustable) and it stands up to the Good Manufacturing Practices that are required of a food plant.
I found this seat to work great with my keyboard. I am disabled with back problems, and this seat with the backrest gives comfortable, stable support to help me play at the keyboard. Thanks!
This drum throne is truly amazing. There's nothing like relaxing when you play an instrument and what better way to relax than to have a wicked soft chair with a backrest. You will not be disappointed!!
Classical guitarists use this stool too, especially those of us with back problems. It's firm, supports the back and doesn't bump the guitar with the nose of the seat. At least it doesn'tfor me. But I'm short -- 5'8" and even all the way down my thighs aren't horizontal. I use the stool and something to raise both feet just a couple of inches. That with a Dynarette have solved my nasty back problems. This is the best I've found so far but it would be better for guitarist if would go lower.
This Throne is Awesome and VERY Comfortable. The Backrest adjusts to any height with ease... plus you can set how far in you want the Backrest to angle, if you desire. The 4 Legs give me Rock Solid Stabilty... I'm 6' 7" and a good 365 pounds so finding a Seat that fits n is comfy is hard. This one is PERFECT for me and i'd recommend it to Everyone !!! Good Luck and Keep Rockin, Mert
I own this, and it's the best drum throne on the market, the most comfortable, and built for war, it's so sturdy. Worth every penny, you'll be so comfortable, you can play longer & better. Supports you well if you are fat or skinny. And isn't that what a drum throne should be people.
