Everybody who has reviewed this product before is using it wrong. OF COURSE ITS NOT GOING TO SILENCE YOUR DRUMS. Its made to you can practice anywhere at anytime. I use it against a table and its DEAD SILENT. Trust me, this things are a cheaper alternative to a practice pad. However, my table doesn't provide much rebound so I recommend buying a real practice pad. haha
These tips are small and only fit on standard snare stick or general drum set sticks. They do not silence the sound completely and sound like you are playing on a practice pad. At first they are a little hard to get on, but you just have to fiddle them around with your fingers before putting them on. They do not leave a mark on white paint or tabletops or leave any residue on the sticks so it is a good buy if you dont always have a practice pad and want to practice on the go. Have just enough bounce on them that you can practice on hard objects but you might have to work a little harder to get the rebound you want. They are sturdy and do not break easy just do not twist them or stretch them out to fit on a stick if the tips are larger then an SD1 do not use these tips! They will not fit.
Well I mean things only really work for the cymbals to mute the sound a little but if u were to hit it hard enough it still wouldn't make much of a difference the actual drums themselves.....well u mite be better off with mutes......overall I would say don't get it if ur gonna use them on ur actual drums
