With a thin layer of birch on the outer layer of the shell delivering a signature punch, a heavy-duty layer of full-toned and resonant African bubinga makes up the inner shell. The use of the thicker, harder bubinga accentuates birch's distinct tone and projection. This snare drum also features Tama's MCS70B basic butt assembly with large 6mm screws for maximum durability.
