The Tama MS205 Boom Mic Stand is made to order for overhead miking of drums and other applications. Straight portion height adjustment: 38" to 63-1/4". Boom length: 32-1/2". Tripod diameter: 29-1/4". Weight 7 lbs.
These are very sturdy and well made. The boom clutch assembly is far superior to the flimsy clutches on the cheap competitors. The Tama clutches are designed to work over many years. The chrome finish is well done. This is a heavy, solid stand. It comes with both Euro and US threads. The only downside is the price, but you do get what you pay for with the Tama.
