Great grabber!

This thing is HEAVY. However, I think I got a little lucky by connecting it to my DW cymbal stand (which was already holding an 18 inch Sabian) and to my surprise the whole thing didn't topple over. It is GREAT quality (this thing can probably withstand nuclear warfare) and it (hopefully) isin't heavy enough to topple your stand over. I currently have a 14 inch Sabian splash on it. If you plan on holding anything dark and heavy on this clamp, connect it to a tom arm. Careful with cymbal stands with this thing. If you can't find the Gibraltar Cymbal Grabber arm, this makes an excellent alternative, in spite of the weight. Overall great clamp!

GREAT!!

I use this for my 14" crash and it works great. Although it's a little on the heavy side. It started tipping my Yamaha stand a little, but I fixed it. Also ths is great if you already have too many stands, it saves lots of space

Tama Offers a High Quality Product at a Fair Price

The Tama MCA63EN does exactly what it is supposed to do: hold a cymbal without having to buy another stand. I have used this product for over a year, and it has never one failed me. Although I only use it to hold a splash cymbal, I have full confidence it would hold up to a sixteen-inch crash, quite possibly even more. The limiting factor in the use of this product is the stand it is clamped to. I say this because a stand will tip over before the cymbal attachment becomes loose. The cymbal attachment can be positioned any direction or angle a drummer would want. The wing nuts tighten the product to several different widths securely, making it very versatile. Over all, I love this cymbal attachment. It offers everything I need at a reasonable price. If the need for another cymbal attachment arose, I would buy this product again.
