Best Out There
This just about the best high-hat stand money can buy. Smooth, quick, even response, built incredibly sturdy. Having a better stand can actually make your high hats sound better, plus it transports really nicely, with the rod going into the pipe.

Great Hi Hat Stand
I recently got this hi-hat stand and it is awesome! It is built like a rock and nothing has failed me yet. It is adjustable in many ways, and has two legs, which is great news to you double bass players. I love how you can hide the rod in the upper tube of the stand for travel. There is even a little rubber stabalizer under the pedal board. The rubber feet have built in spikes if you don't want your stand to move. You can adjust the angle of the pedal board, the spring tension, and you can change the angle of the stand by extending the legs more than usual. The pedal is very smooth and fast. This is my favorite hi-hat stand for all it's features and durabiltiy. Definately give this stand a try.

built to survive the next war
This stand is seriously built like a tank there are no weak points on this stand at all. The pedal is very smooth and the responsive is very quick. You can tilt this stand towards you and still have it be very stable. It has only two legs which is great if you have a double bass pedal or other pedals off to the left of the hi-hat stand like i do. It has rubber feet for smooth surfaces and retractable spikes for carpets. It also has a supposrt piece that comes out under the pedal to support the stand even more. For the money and the amount of features this hi-hat stand has nothing can compare.

Like a DW 9000 for $100 less!!!
This is almost identical to the amazing DW 9000! The DW one is $250, while this is about $100 less! I just got this for Christmas of 2006, and I have fallen in love! I was having trouble setting it up, but my Dad figured it out, and I realized what I had missed, which was stupid haha! But this hi-hat really holds the cymbals together TIGHT when you want to! This is just perfect for anyone! VERY sturdy! The pipes are very thick and strong, will NOT break!! After all, I play metal, so heh, it can obviously live! And Lars Ulrich uses it, Mike Portnoy, Dave Makintosh, as well as other big drummers.

this hi-hat stand is super-sturdy, super-quick response, and super-quiet! i've had hi-hat stands in the past that made alot of noise and required alot of power to close the hi-hats tightly. GET THIS STAND.

unsung hero
I never paid much attention to the pedal under my left foot, but after I got an iron cobra single pedal for my kick I figured I would take a look. This thing is great. Very comfortable and reacts immediately the way I am asking it to. I like the tension adjustments but those are more suitable for someone who consistently plays a double bass pedal. Definitely take a look at this stand if you hasd the same attitude that I did and I guaratee you see a difference.

Great Mid-level Hat stand
I bought this a few days ago and my playing frequency has increased dramatically since I set it up. Having a good hihat stand makes your hats sound and feel better. If you are considering buying a new stand for your hats, and you don't have all that much money, this is the way to go. You don't want to go too cheap, and unless you want ridiculous features, you don't need to go all that expensive. Responsive, quick, and 2 legs enables you to set it up in a rack system or with a double-bass easily. Do it!
