  • wood beaters are poor quality

    I've had a better experience with the felt beater, but this review is for the wood beater. I bought them to use with my roland kd-8 kick trigger and within 10 minutes of playing one of the wooden beaters came unglued. This is not something I want to happen when it comes show time. I may even return these and just get a solid wood danmar.

    These beaters are GREAT! They are very lightweight and I thought they weren't going to have alot of power, but these things pack a huge punch! They're powerful,speedy,and smooth! Joey Jordison uses the wood ones along with two Iron Cobra Power Glide pedals in the slipknot DVD Disasterpieces! He gets that hard clicky sound with those wood beaters. The only reason I didn't give it a 5.0 for overall, is because my personal favorites are the Pearl Quad Beaters and Eliminator Pedals. But Next to that is the Tama Iron Cobra Power Glide Pedals and Iron Cobra wood beaters

  • Fast and Furious Beater

    The Tama CB90 Pedal Beater is, by far, one of the best beaters I have ever used. Don't let the small size of this beater worry you. It still produces a nice tone, it's fast, and it's lightweight, but it still produces a heavy tone if you want it to. It has a lot of adjustments too and it's just great. I still prefer the Axis Percussion hammer beater, but next to this, this is awesome. Go and get the Tama CB90 Pedal Beater, you won't regret it.
