I did not know that I could actually fall in love with a guitar

By David P.

Comments about Takamine GD93CE G Series Dreadnought Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

This guitar is the best sounding guitar I have ever played in my life, and yes I've played a few (I'm 63 years old). Besides the workmanship that made this guitar beautiful, the deep tones and fullness of sound that comes from it are amazing. It's been attached to my hands ever since I got it. Guitar Center did a great job as always with shipping it fast and gave me a great deal on the price.

Comments about Takamine GD93CE G Series Dreadnought Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

This is a beautiful guitar. It is D-35 three piece back with Quilted Maple center wedge piece and maple border purfling. Rosewood back and sides with non scalloped bracing. The guitar is somewhat heavy. With the bracing of this particular guitar makes for a long time before this guitar ever gets broken in. It is a very nice rich sounding guitar but I have been trying to play as much as I can for two years; trying to break it in and loosen it up so it will resonate more, but this one is going to take a considerable time. It is quite stiff.

My particular guitar I have customized. I managed to find a set of Grover Roto Tuners in Gold Hardware. I put a set of lightly aged bone bridge pins with abalone which matches that of this guitar fret board. Also replaced the pick guard with a rosewood which has an angel playing a harp with a somewhat floral all,in abalone which makes this a pretty one of a kind. That being said, these are wonderful guitars to customize.
