This is a Tak that was recommended to me by the store owner as I was looking for what I hope would be a powerful A-E. It has great tone, stays in tune and has good volume unplugged. It is a dream to play and I must say that many of the Takamines are very close in feel and sound. I have played this guitar through my Crate acoustic amp and it produces a very good quailty sound that would be welcome on any stage. I like it so much that I want to get another Takamine soon maybe in KOA this time. Wonderful for the price I paid.
I never played a Takamine as I've always been a Martin fan. Happened to pick on this Tak in a competitor's store just passing time and was completely surprised with the rich mellow sound and especially the price. I knew I wanted it and took 2 days to make my mind up. Went on Guitar Center's web, ordered, received in just 3 days, and really enjoy the sound. A nice addition to my Fender.

I purchased the Takamine EG340sc, this guitar sounds great. it has a very simple but beautiful look to it. It has great tone and stays in tune. I am very satisfied with this guitar. It has such a big sound for such a little price. This guitar has become my favorite.
