My pick

I have recently been looking at buying a 12-string acoustic. I have a Taylor t5 and a les paul, so I like to get the best. I played the Taylor 655, the both ovation 12-strings, a Fender, and the Martin. In the end, I ended up with this guitar. It has all the warm sound of the Taylor and Martin, with a nice sounding pickup. It sounds good plugged in or unplugged and the action is nice and low. It also rings in under half price of the Taylor.

I love it.

This is my second Takamine Guitar. I also own a six string EF325SRC that I played onstage for 10 years. I love both of my guitars, but it is truly a joy to play this twelve string. I can sit in a room full of musicians that are amplified and play it acoustically and still be heard, but when I plug it into my Trace Acoustic Amp..... that's heaven. I hang out with a lot of acomplished guitar players, and all of them have said the same thing after playing it... "sweet". The action is low, the tone is wonderful... it's just a top quality instrument all around. I recently used it in the studio, and the engineer is after me for full custody... I'm leaning towards supervised visitation. ;-)

SWEET 12 STRING

I bought the 6 string version of this guitar,(takamine eg 523sc) and i loved it so much i had to get the 12 string too. I bought this 12 string takamine used, on ebay from a guy in nashville. It was a really good deal, but I would have paid full price, because the guitar is so good. The sound is wonderful, full, way better than my ovation 12 string. It's nice to have the cutaway, it's really comfortable to play, the action is low and easy to play,(way easier than the ovation 12 string) sounds really awesome. I love the sound of a 12 string, and this takamine just sounds so full & rich & jangly. The onboard electronics are great and sound awesome through my ultrasound amp. I totally recommend this guitar.

THE BEST...

This guitar is the best 12 string guitar that I have ever laid eyes on, the finish is amazing, the spruce top creates a beautiful tone and to top it all off, it has a great eq, the tuner on it is a little strange to use at first but i got used to it quickly. The only bad feature i think this guitar has is that the action is super high, but that is not enough to stop it from a perfect record.

Pretty cool

My father got this guitar for christmas, wanting a 12-string guitar. Overall, this guitar looks great and sounds great. Every time I get to play it, I am amazed by such good sound. Some complaits though, are the necks size. It is very fat, and sometimes it is very hard to just play chords. Also, some of the frets are messed up, when you try to play on the 12th fret, you have to wait a second and look, because it doesn't name the two dots on the side of the neck, it just has one. Besides that, if you have big hands the fat neck wouldn't be a problem, and this is a great guitar but will take some getting use to.
